Job description

This position requires an understanding of SEO implementation along with PHP programming with LAMP framework. The SEO component will consist of 60% of the deliverable and PHP programming will be about 40%. The PHP Programming needed is more towards continuous updation of website interface in terms of restructuring, maintenance and support. On the SEO front, article/blog/directory listing content submission and sharing, on page H1 H2 H3/ Image alt tags, meta data and titles supported by Google Analytics setup and reporting. Overall, incumbent is responsible for improving website's organic search results, mobilize SEO campaigns, runs PPC campaigns, and attempts to improve website rankings in major search engines on revenue based results. Though the strategy end support will lie in the hands of the Digital Strategist, inputs on continuous improvement are a strong expectation. 

Desired Skills and Experience

Programming on Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP

Setup Google Analytics

AdWords and SEO skills

3 years minimum proven experience

Roles:  

Analyze website performance through analytical tools available.

Audit of the entire site for programming/ structure/ performance/ search related improvements.

Best industry practices to be aligned in the SEO-PPC strategy.

Keyword level analysis on a weekly updating basis.

Identification of submission platforms that can garner page rank support

Structural improvements/ content updates of the website.

Ensure websites are filled with optimal keywords- balanced between unoptimized and keyword stuffing.

On page optimization such as H1-H2-H3 tags, Image Alt Tags, Meta data page descriptions in line with keyword strategy.

Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines.

Compile and SEO performance reports in designated format while improving the format over time to ensure better clarity and new perspective from the data available.

Continuously monitor and manage PPC campaigns.
