Apple is very known company with their trend mobiles and computer based products, It has shaked the world's market for few year in the Late "STEVE JOBS" era. But in this present time it is facing hard situations with the strong competitor SAMSUNG. Apple stated that their stock value has lost their award winning price and due to over strain, they are not able to come out with advance features which lead to a great loss with iPhone 5 mobiles. In the recent survey iPhone 5 has gradually loosing its value in the market and the sale gone drastically low compare to 2012 iPhone 4.
Due to brand value of iPhone Tim cook has earned almost same as 2012 to 2013 which lost part of his performance-based stock award during a year in which intense competition and margin pressure bludgeoned the iPhone maker's stock.
Tim cook took home around $4.25 million , inclusive of a base salary of $1.4 million appx and a performance bonus of $2.8 million, roughly in the year 2012, the company said in a proxy statement on Friday.
In the year 2013 Apple lost around quarter of their share value as a result he has to give up around 7000 share which had tied to annual performance award for Tim cook. activist investor Carl Icahn ha aroused a resolution about the share value for the apple company and the company first time advised shareholders to vote down a resolution. Apple in their words "dynamic competitive landscape and the company's rapid pace of innovation require unprecedented investment, flexibility and access to resources" for regretting the demands by icahn.
But Apple has come under increasing strain from rivals like Samsung Electronics and Huawei in key markets, while Amazon.com and other manufacturers are using Google's Android software to launch competing tablets.
This month, it finally secured a deal with China Mobile after protracted negotiations, a deal that should enlarge its footprint in the world's largest telecoms market.
